FYI... Mottled wood owl subspecies found in GIR is endemic to this place only.... Strix ocellata grandis Koelz, 1950, Type Locality: Adult male; Sasan, Junagadh, Kathiwar, Western India, February 3, 1949; W. Koelz, collector. Yes Manisha, hopefully a good photo of White-bellied Minivet and three Mottled Wood Owl too. To top it off last morning also had two Painted Sandgrouse which was a fitting finale.
